My 2 days in the Sun

I do not bother editing my posts so I'm sorry for any grammatical errors or spelling mistakes!
At Parkway Parade with Zhim and Shafiqa~

Had a lot of fun these 2 days hanging out with friends.

On Tuesday, my NJ classmates, Mei Qian and Zhim, came to my house not to visit me (sadly) but to visit my d0g. Yes, you heard me right. My dog. Gou. Inu. Hai soudesu. haha. Well they kinda did lose their way and went AWOL for about an hour before I decided to take matters into my own hands and demanded that they screenshot their current location on Google Maps to me. So, needless to say, I found them. Stranded. About 200 metres away from my house.

So, they played with Kanon, my border collie. Kanon really seemed to love their company. She was this active little furry ball of energy, jumping on them and attempting to smother them with her sloppy kisses.

My precious non non~
HAHA. They played for about an hour before they slumped on my sofa, exhausted, where I started showing YouTube trailers of certain movies

. Movies that have Dane DeHaan in them. -smirk smirk-

I think I'm infatuated. HAHA

Well, I was on a Dane DeHaan movie marathon those 2 days, watching from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 to Chronicle, Kill Your Darlings, The place Beyond the Pines, Metallica through the Never and Life after Beth. All these. In 2 days. Quite a feat right! Yeap. I'm officially obsessed haha. Oh. Did i mention that I watched The Amazing Spider-Man 2 twice as well? HAHA BUT BUT WAIT WAIT. Don't jump to conclusions here okay!! I watched it a second time for the sake of my friend who wanted it to be a group movie so I am not excused. TT^TT Money money fly fly~ The second time I watched TAS2, I sat there wondering: where the hell did Dane put on that 20 pounds he claimed to have put on from his Green Goblin diet coz  I believe he is still really really skinny. O.O Anyway, I believe that I'm #OntheDaneTrain and am officially part of the #OSBORNARMY now.
After TAS2 at bugis~ Watching it a second time with #3L1R

More wefies haha

Dane Dehaan as Harry Osborn aka Green Goblin

The smile~
Well, moving on~ (better than continuing my paragraph on Dane DeHaan and start spazzing about his devastating handsome smile..ok ok shhhhhh)

I had a really sinful day on Wednesday. Met Zhim and Shafiqa at Paya Lebar and we decided to head out to Parkway Parade for lunch. After much walking and deciding, we ended up at Pastamania where we had their new promotion for Ravioli Sets! We tried all three types: The Salmon Ravioli with tartar (?) like sauce, the spinach ravioli with tomato sauce and the mushroom ravioli. The sets all came with a side of Sjora (yay) and it was worth $9.90 in total!

Even with so much carbohydrates, we decided that today would be our cheat meal day and went to Toby's: the dessert asylum for APPLE CRUMBLE PIE and WAFFLES WITH ICE CREAM. Calories calories yikes. I didn't regret eating that waffle though, but I believe my wallet did cry out a bit. :< Guys, you should really try Toby's Waffle with fresh fruits and ice cream. IT IS SINFULLY DELICIOUS.

THAT SINFUL WAFFLE

APPLE CRUMBLE PIE

Loaded with sugar and carbo, we still went shopping in Daiso and bought Mild Milk Tea to enjoy. Yeap. We have no care for our expanding waistlines. oh boy. I believe a run is in order soon!

Overall, It was a really great day, tons of fun and laughter! We created an instalgram account for zhim called zhimster_pastamunia which I thought was a really adorable name but she changed it to boring old zhi_mun. sigh. oh well.
Some random craziness in Giant

coz we just love marvel character like the green goblin

Mandatory selfie with zhim and shaf!

The Dog Whisperer: Cesar Milan Live in Singapore 2014

So, I got tickets to watch CESAR MILAN. Just how cool is that! Being an avid animal lover, I'm tellling you that it's cool. Really cool. It's like you're meeting the one and only DOG WHISPERER.

So on the 2nd of May, I headed to The Star Theatre at Star Vista and decided to have my dinner at Menya Musashi which coincidentally was also my old workplace. I'm really really fond of this place ( mainly because of the really really nice and friendly staff). Well, the moment I joined the queue, my manager spotted me and ushered us (my mum, sis and I) into the shop and  took our orders.

Menya Musashi white tsukemen

Seriously, after Ramen Champion's Riki Tsukemen standard fell, I officially decree that Menya Musashi serves the best Tsukemen as of today (2014). My manager even gave me free-off-the-menu watermelon slices and a complimentary bowl of freaking awesome milk pudding that I LOVED. Oh. Did I mention that she even gave me a 10% staff discount?

I love star vista's Menya Musashi. Do visit there sometimes. SUPPORT THEM.

Afterwards, my sis and I headed to the theatre for the show. Well, my takeaway from the entire show would be: Human beings are mentally unstable so dogs would rather listen to cats. HAHA. The other would be that you should never treat your pet like your child. The reason is simple. Pets and children are completely different creatures! Well you can't actually think that your dog understands what you're actually saying right? Well, it may know the actions it must do after you sound certain syllabus in a specific pattern, but what makes you so sure that your dog understands the true meaning of the word 'sit' or 'good boy'. The show really did shed light into my eyes and enlightened me.

Sleepover with Zuzushita

Thanks to Mingzu's "persuasive powers" (read her blog at: http://tolivelaughandlovemylife.blogspot.com), I've finally decided to start a blog. Well, the key word in this case is "start" so i may never have a follow up post after this considering that I tend to forget the existence of my blogs. I don't even know what's my blog's url (will check later). :) With Mingzhen's nagging, I'm sure that there will be more posts to come and without further procrastination, here's the pilot post!

First Sleepover at Mingzhen's house!

So yesterday after work at the vet clinic, I made my way to Yishun mrt to meet Mingzhen and her mum. Mingzhen kept telling me to look out for an orange 5 seater car and I was like thinking: "huh? Orange 5 seater? What?" and kept my eyes glued to the road, eyeballing every single orange car that went by. That was when I noticed this particular orange car at the zebra crossing near Northpoint. Well, I was like 77% sure that it was Mingzhen's mum's car but it's like 10pm at night and its dark plus my eyesight isn't good. So, it may have been my mind playing tricks on me cause I think i saw some ghostly, creepy white apparition frantically waving to me from the car's interior. I jogged towards the car (mind you, I think I looked like some homeless dude carrying a huge backpack with a small shoe bag) and realised that crap it really was her car. I literally ran to it and flung myself into the car, hastily muttering a greeting to Mingzhen and her mum. Not such a glam start to my first sleepover haha.

We wanted to go late night swimming and so we changed into our swimsuits and headed down. SADLY, the pool was closed but Mingzhen (being badass) wanted to swim anyway and I fully supported her (HAHA) BUT we ran into this annoying old man. The entire conversation was something like this:

Old man: Excuse girl. You see the lights are off right? It means the pool is closed le. You cannot swim now.

Mingzhen: .....-stares at old man-

Old man: You understand or not? English can undersand? Hua yu hui ting ma?

Mingzhen and I exchanged looks. Seriously. This guy was really treating us like idiots and he totally didn't understand that we were ignoring him. The old man then proceeded the shout at the patrolling security guard screaming that we cannot swim now. Haha. I think Mingzhen really wanted his head given her expression. Never met such a busybody old man before. Oh well, I guess no one actually listens to him at home or something so he had to hang around the pool around 10:30 at night to tell off some kids to get some weird sense of satisfaction.
With Mingzu :)

Sexy zuzu ~~ HAHA

Obviously we abandoned our late night swimming plan and decided to chill out in Mingzu's room. We agreed to watch Battle Royale, this really old japanese killing spree movie that was bloody but funny (IMO). Tatsuya Fujiwara looked really reallly young in that movie haha. Overall it was an okay show, not exceptionally nice or anything but it oddly resembled BTOOOM the anime and a little of Hunger Games.

Kuroshitsuji themed day!
Me: VJCian Mingzhen: 12SH11 NJCian :)
Sidetrack a little, speaking of Japanese films, KUROSHITSUJI WAS AWESOME. ^^ Watched it with Mingzu at filmgarde @ bugis+. I went on to buy kuroshitsuji book 9-15 and got a free movie poster! WHEEHEE. I was soooo happy haha

Back to my sleepover, We decided to exhange tees for the night soooo i became a VJCian! HEHE I like her PE attire~~~~ It's not dri-fit!

Milo in bowls. OMG.
Now, to the weirdest thing I have ever seen. Mingzhen served me milo in....a bowl. A metallic, big round bowl. I couldn't stop my incredulous laughter and Mingzhen was telling me that she didn't have the slightest clue as to why her friends were always laughing when she served milo in a bowl. My dearest blur mingzu. When you get married in the future, I will buy you a set of cups as a housewarming gift because that's what cups are for. To serve drinks.:)

We talked, laughed and did crazy things. Finally, we went to bed at 4:30am. Being a naturally early riser, I got up at 8am but decided to let Mingzu sleep in a bit more. At 9:20, I smacked her awake. She groggily yawned and asked me to let her sleep till 9;30. I compiled. At 9:30, I smacked her awake once again. She groggily yawned and asked me to let her sleep to 10am. -.- At 9:40, I ripped off her blankets and opened the curtains. HAHA. That was how I managed to get the infamous Mingzu awake on time. We went morning swimming, this time with no annoying-busybody old men around. Afterwards, we went to AMK hub to eat at Udon King! The salmon cream with tarako sauce is seriously one of the yummiest things I have ever tried but sadly, It was not available. I had to made do with the chicken toji set which wasn't too bad. Quite yummy actually but I may be biased as I was starving haha.

With that, we concluded our sleepover and I headed home for a nap. A really long nap. In the evening, I went to watch The Amazing Spider-Man 2 with my family. It was really amazing and amusing as well! Dane DeHaan was soooooo cute in the movie :3 <3 <3 <3

Lol. I better stop the post here before it becomes a full spazz about Dane DeHaan. WELL. SORRY.
